Manufacturing Process

Each holder starts as a pre-cut blank of the type of wood you select

The basic shape of the pen is roughed out with a small carving knife in accordance with the measurements and grip photo/s provided

The surface of the pen is smoothed out through sanding and prepped for finishing

The outer finish is applied to seal the wood and protect it from ink and water

The finish is sanded to a smooth surface

The foot of the holder is drilled and cut to prepare it for the flange

A flange is folded and fitted to hold a specific nib (if requested)

The flange is mounted and secured in place with cyanoacrylate

The finished holder is polished to a high gloss.
